Diabetes Videos

I am just completing a week long trip to New Jersey and Washington DC where I taught two 2-day seminars on How to Become a Certified Diabetes Educator, for Gannett/Nurse.com. I had a wonderful time meeting new friends and colleagues and even got to visit the Capital, Library of Congress and the national Botanical Garden on my travel day in between seminars!
I'm attaching a new list I'm just creating for a resource. There are some wonderful videos to learn about diabetes which I used during my courses.
Here is the growing list as it's only a start!

Welcome Life Long Learners!

Welcome Life Long Learners!
This blog is created as a resource for my nursing colleagues and nursing students. I have wanted to create a blog and finally had an assignment in my online teaching certificate class which has "forced" me to create it! Here you'll find lots of resources for learning about health care, nursing and your own amazing body. I chose Nursing because I had a marvelous anatomy professor at BYU (Dr. Kent Van de Graaf) as an undergraduate student, who made a simple lecture on cellular mitosis feel like a spiritual experience! Each lecture on anatomy and physiology resonated as deep truth to me to learn about the amazing human body created by a divine celestial architect and I wanted to learn more. I sometimes laugh that I feel my brain didn't "wake up" until college- but that's probably because I didn't find a topic that really excited me until health and medicine. So this blog is to share with you some of that excitement.
